We are entirely convinced this is the last two line Rolex 14060 Submariner no date model ever made. In the early Z7 serial number, the Rolex 14060 Submariners began to receive COSC certifications for its calibre 3130 movement. After the certification process began, the Rolex 14060 dial changed from the two lines you see on this dial to add “Superlative Chronometer” and “Officially Certified.” This dial change is to reflect the new COSC status of the no date 14060 Submariner no dates.
We have seen Z72 serial 14060 Submariners be four line COSC models, and have never even seen another Z7 serial two line no date Submariner anywhere. When we bought this particular no date Sub, we had no idea that it was likely the last one ever, and sold it on the same day to a good client of ours. This Rolex 14060 has its original boxes, warranty card (dated 2011 because it was new old stock), green serial number tag, and all manuals. Needless to say, the buyer was a very happy camper. We love to deliver rare and complete timepieces like this to our clients, though this one caused a case of seller’s remorse because we are collectors, too. In all, this was an unbelievable Rolex 14060 in fantastic new old stock condition, and as complete as can get.
SOLD and delivered to our buyer in NYC with Rolex boxes, warranty card, Submariner manuals, and both hang tags.
