We sold this extremely rare and discontinued Rolex 16610 Submariner random serial number, which is the last serial number series the 16610 Submariner carried before being replaced by the Rolex 116610 ceramic Submariner. The entire watch was still wrapped in original Rolex factory protective plastics, and in truly brand new old stock condition. One of the biggest distinguishing marks on the 16610 Submariner random serial is the antiglare cyclop treatment that Rolex applied to this model in the late V8-V9 serial number in 2009. All previous models have a standard non anti glare cyclop sapphire crystal, and only the late V, G, and random serial 16610 Submariners have the anti glare AR cyclop.
Houses a calibre 3135 movement, said by some to have the parachrom blue hairspring in the random serial, but we never opened the watch to examine that as we do not open brand new old stock timepieces. Comes on original factory tight Rolex reference 93250 solid end link SEL bracelet on a no holes case. All stickers on watch head, bracelet, and caseback remain firmly attached.
SOLD and delivered to our buyer in brand new old stock condition, complete with all original Rolex boxes, manuals, warranty card, both the green serial number and red chronometer hang tags still attached, and the original bezel protector.
